A baby deer alone in my backyard.
* Fawns are enchanting little creatures and it can be tempting to touch them but please DON’T. Fawns curl up and remain quiet and still while their mothers are out foraging. Fawns are scentless for the first few days of life so that they cannot be sniffed out by predators. Touching them interferes with their only defense, which is to remain undetected. If a human is lingering too close to a fawn it will prevent the mother from returning to nurse her baby. Do not touch a fawn unless you know it has been orphaned. Please read What to do if you find a Fawn .
observe but never interfere with wildlife, unless you know what you are doing
such a kyoot baby. my cat would probably try to curl up with it xD
Ugh, humans ruin everything. But seriously… what an adorable baby.
I hope the baby is okay and taken care of. :(
Pretty important information about how to deal with wild life.
